We are pleased to announce that ConocoPhillips Lubricants recently received the prestigious "Supplier of the Year Award" from Colectric Partners, a membership-driven non-profit corporation serving America's publicly-owned utilities. ConocoPhillips Lubricants was selected from a field of 37 suppliers throughout the nation. Colectric Partners developed the award to recognize the critical role its suppliers play in the success of overall operations, and companies were evaluated on their ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer requirements.

"On numerous occasions ConocoPhillips Lubricants has demonstrated its ability to meet and exceed our expectations while offering valuable expertise that keeps our members' power plants running smoothly. Their notable responsiveness and remarkable expertise has helped us reduce potential equipment downtime and avoid significant maintenance expenses, in addition to providing us with a quality lubrication product."

ConocoPhillips Lubricants was selected by Colectric Partners' public utility members and the Florida Municipal Power Authority for providing outstanding service as well as numerous value-added services to its members over the past year and a half. A deciding factor in the nomination was ConocoPhillips' ability to respond quickly to two emergency situations involving time-sensitive bulk turbine oil orders. A special thank you for remarkable service goes to Mark Mamaghani, technical sales representative, ConocoPhillips Lubricants, and Jim Gigante, director of sales, energy segment, ConocoPhillips Lubricants, who serve as liaisons for the account and helped make the award possible. Mark and Jim were on-hand to accept the award on May 21 at an awards ceremony held in conjunction with the 2007 Colectric Utility Executive-Supplier Conference in Florida.
